Welcome to the Year 9 Pathways information page. When deciding on which subjects to take you should gather information from different sources and do some research to see how your choices at GCSE can help you on to different career paths. Below you can find an information booklet and subject presentations. A hard copy of the booklet will be available on the Pathways evening held in school. This evening will give you a chance to find out more about subjects on offer and ask questions about the courses.
At the end of each presentation below is a contact name/email address should you require any further information. Alternatively you can email admin@csschool.co.uk and your enquiry will be directed to the most appropriate person. You may find the information at BBC Bitesize helpful and also this website called Start. Both contain information and advice about choosing your options. Don't forget to speak to Mr Overton, our Careers Adviser, too.
Key Dates 2023

Thursday 9th March, Pathways Evening, 5-7pm
- Thursday 23rd March, Progress Evening, 3:30-6:30pm
- Friday 24th March, pathways final choice form sent electronically to students
- Monday 27th March, deadline for submission of options form, 9am.
- From 29th March onwards, best-fit interviews and subject choices confirmed.
