Are we at last seeing an end to the wintry weather? Certainly the birds seem to be in full song now, so hopefully Spring is well and truly on the way, and we can look forward to some sunshine. Thank you so much for your patience and support during the recent bouts of disruption and closures due to the snow.

Parents of Year 9 students should by now have received a letter in the post regarding the forthcoming Key Stage 4 Choices process. Please accept our apologies for an error on the letter: the date of the information evening is TUESDAY 23rd March (and not Wednesday). Further information will be sent home nearer the time.

The PTA's recent Big Band Night was a huge success, raising around £1,000 for the school funds. The raffle raised a further £175 which will be put with the money raised on MUFTI Day(just over £1,100), and will be donated to the victims of the Haiti earthquake. We are grateful to everyone who supported the event, and hope that you enjoyed the occasion.

Geography resources have been added to the year 11 area.
