At Church Stretton School, all students in Key Stage 3 use progress grids in every subject. These grids are designed to help students understand what successful learning looks like and what they need to do to make progress over time.

Progress grids break learning down into clear steps, helping students identify their strengths and recognise the next steps in their learning. They support students in taking ownership of their progress and encourage meaningful conversations about achievement and improvement.

By using progress grids consistently across all subjects, students develop a clearer understanding of their learning journey and how they can continue to grow and succeed.
